Organizations

Cabnic Counsel (n): The city of Cabnic is run by a twelve man counsel, with each member heading different committees. The counsel as a whole establishes, defends, and interprets laws.

Clockstern (n): A Scigfried producer of Fourshooters. To own a Clockstern is a symbol of wealth and status, since their pistols are as artistically crafted as they are battle-dangerous. Clockstern Fourshooters work off of a complex gear-and-hammer mechanic that couples with the chard based ammunition. The result is an extremely violent explosion of power. Each Fourshooter is individually crafted, and costs a small fortune to possess.

Counsel Guards (n): The guards for the counsel of Cabnic. Also the chief peace keeping force in Cabnic.

The Entrusts (n): An underground militant group that recruited young men on the grounds of civility and crime-fighting.  Ironically, Philos Zyeer instead exploited these children for his personal gain, and when they grew up had an unstoppable task force of thieves and rebels to do his bidding. Mysteriously, one day The Entrusts essentially fell out of existence, never to be seen or heard from again.

Grand Designers (n): A religious group that base their Social etiquette and Status standards off of the ideal of being a deity among manners. The Grand Designers believe that when a man becomes dignified, he becomes more like god: the Grand Designer. Popular is the wealthiest of Upper-classes of Solstice, Grand Designers pride themselves on their civility, and seek perfection. They also follow a code of ethics.

Marius’ Raiders: Formed at the outset of the Journeymen uprising, the 76th battlement force was a special operations unit, consisting of around thirty men, handpicked from several different tribes. The unit carried out primarily guerilla attacks of tactical locations, however their battle record made them one of the most feared and skilled units in the entire war. They unit was eventually ambushed at the Siren’s Battle, and the ultimate fate of any surivivors is unkown.
 
Olivian Parliment (n): The nation of Olivia is goverened by a small parliment, which consists of four members from each of the five cities, along with the capitol. The Parliment is led by the Speaker Primus. The Parliment takes all government responsibility, including establishing, implementing, and interpreting laws for the nation as a whole.

Parlimentary Army (n): The national peacekeeping force, and main defender of Parliment. Raised after the successful rebellion against the royal family, a number of forces from the surrendering royal army, along with the remaining militias and rebellion forces, were folded into the emerging force. As such, there is a clear division within the ranks, as many of the former royal army members hold a sense of honor and pride that their successors do not.

‘Plateautian’ (n): [Name Pending] A person originating from the ‘Grand-Plateau’ (Name pending). In Olmeer: an allusion to a savage.

Port Guard (n): The chief peacekeeping and military force in Rafe. While helping to ensure the stability of all local government activites, the Port Guard are also known worldwide, due to their interaction with foreign sailors. The Guard monitors all activity within the Port, and despite their steadfast concern for city safety, are fairly easy to sidestep with the right connections.

Royal Guard: The official guard of Fusion (see Fusion). The Royal Guard ranks as follows (low to high rank): Worthies (initiates/trainees), House Monitor (the house guard), Quarter Monitors, Half Monitors, Monitors (personal guard to Fusion royalty), Prime Monitor (head of the Guard). If a Worthy is not initiated, they are allowed to have a leadership role in the Fusion Army

Rykers (n): Started a few centuries ago by Arnholm Ryker as a simple weapons dealer shop, Ryker’s has flourished into a major manufacturer of all pistols, ammunitions, and blades. Run now by Jutik Ryker, the company has become embroiled in several scandals, most notably for fueling conflicts in order to increase their sales.


Woodsmen (n): Outlaws that reside in the Queenwood near Harvesthome. Known for their annual raids, stealing supplies and Autumn grass, and random acts of violence or destruction. Woodsmen are the suspected cause of missing people in Queenwood. Origin is speculated to be one of many things, most commonly believed is the escaped slaves from Solstice during the Blood Harvest.
