Arinold, Duke of Rhonteville (m): An extremely wealthy merchant of Solstice, Duke Arinold is the end all be all to fashion and status in the town of Solstice. With the use of cosmetics, Arinold has managed to maintain an appearance well beyond his years: he has long white hair, and a smooth sharp jaw-line. He is incredibly wealthy, and is the sole owner of the Rhonteville Estate. He is the Duke of Social customs, and often handles trade treaties and other important ordeals. Flamboyant, polite, narcissistic, superficial, and superfluous.  His house has the sign of the Swan.

Aseus, Krad (m): The head of the city guard, Krad was a soldier who helped to defend Olivia during the Ronstad Wars. After serving in the Parlamentary Court Guard for several years, he was stationed at Cabnic to ensure it’s defense and order was kept with the influx of Journeymen refugees. He is well known as an able and no-nonsense leader and soldier.

Berny, ‘Burly’ (m): A black-smith of incredible talent and renoun in Solstice; mainly for his ability to drink. He is large, often dirty, and covered with thick coarse black hair. Heavily bearded, and boisterous of attitude, Berny never turns down a challenge.

Bert, Joiun (m): sergeant of the port guard for the city of Rafe.

Beryll, Toren (m): The first Prime Builder, appointed by Manala. Toren Beryll is a contemplative man who analyzes a situation before tackling it. He is not particularly sharp witted, or quick of tongue; he is diligent and dedicated.

Betheloo, Makor (m): Prime Justice of Harvesthome during the enlistment of Hallen Alwice and Harver Jun. He was a kindly man, but prone to bouts of rage and bravado when intoxicated. One night he had stumbled out of the Bounty, only to be murdered by Corin Mohanas’s stag; indignation. The Betheloo family is of notable Scigfried decent, though somewhat shrouded in dishonor.

Betheloo, Mathius (m): The son of Makor, the new Prime Justice of Harvesthome, of Scigfried decent. Known for his stunning blonde hair and blue eyes, he is the epitome of Scigfried genetics. He is a long line descendant from a dishonored family, and seeks to restore his family’s honor by achieving the status of Regional Grand-Judge. Ambitious, non-chalant, cruel.
  He is a marksman with a Clockstern Four-shooter.

Big Happy (m): A massive man, big and fat with the mentality of a child. He is gentle and kind by nature, but can turn vicious if need be. He works on the cleaning teams in the Waterchase arena, and is a bit of an enigma. Many fear him for his size, but he really can’t take care of himself. Strong, Happy, a big baby.



Bipton, Drow (m): The High Chancellor of the city of Waterchase. A tyrannical and dictatorial ruler of a city that is bursting with culture. A city he wishes to be orderly, routine and robotic as a machine. He is viewed as a bitter and greedy man and many wish that he were not in office however the few that wish they could stand up to him, are too frightened to try.

Blantiff, Jorge (m): The mayor and council leader of Cabnic. He has become known as a fairly inefficient leader, and remains in power only due to his support of organized crimelords.

Borsky, Kantinda (m) (Deceased): A young new councilman, Borsky ran on a platform of justice and social change in Cabnic. He is viewed by many as the savior of Cabnic, and is expected to do a great deal to help combat the poverty and crime in the city.

Brillard (m): the Comptain of Salttown. A feeble, nervous man

Brynd (m): A half monitor in the Royal Guard (see Royal Guard). Cain’s superior

Cain (m): A quarter monitor in the Royal Guard. Considered lucky due to his birth status (see birth status)



Calbe (m): A picker, that is leader, for the cleaning teams of the Water chase arena. A bit of a coward, abrasive, bawdy, not very sharp. He his unhygienic, with terrible teeth, and an unkempt appearance like the rest of his crew.

Club, Mr. (?): (Pseudonym) One of Majore Jelep’s coaxers.  He is a large dark humanoid of unknown gender or species, with a ‘misshapen form’ and clubs for hands. Though he is generally known by the public, most don’t believe in his existence; akin to the boogeyman.



Delvin chin-scar (m): Greedy and crafty. A member of the cleaning teams in the Waterchase  arena. He has a scar on his chin, and is dark in demeanor. Not many trust him, an ex-criminal.

Deon (m): (Last name unmentioned) Owner of the Bounty, in Harvesthome.  Known for his short temper and explosive personality, Deon is snappy, morose, pessimistic, and short fused. Recently his age has caught up with him, and his rage has diluted. He is known to complain about current situations while blaming his misfortune on others. The First Prime Provider.

Gandit, Bard (m): A local official and well known face in Cabnic.

Gather, Lee (m): The middle Gather brother, Lee is passionate and romanticizes about honor and victory. He rode against a fleeing group of Justices during the night of Harvesthome’s liberation and made himself a hero in the eyes of Harvesthome. Ten Justices were killed. He is passionate and can adapt to any situation on the fly. The First Prime Transporter.

Gather, Ulgin (m): The oldest Gather brother. Less charismatic than the other two, but diligent and thorough; patient where the other two are head-strong.

Gather, Yon Yelso (m): A Gatherer of Harvesthome, before being taken in by the Woodsmen. He is the youngest Gather brother, and cautious; his senses of sight and hearing are keen, which make him a prime choice for a scouting. He is intimidated by those older than him, but not weak of character. The First Prime Scouter.

Gilner, Marn (m): (Deceased) Marn Gilner was a historian of incredible influence. His experiences and endless years of research have yielded some of the most thorough and (arguably) interesting Epochs of all time (See Epochs). He is considered a leader in his field, a savant in literature and philosophy as well. Born in Scigfried, died in Scigfried.

Harven, Jola (m): (Deceased) An old Harvester, known for his racism, bitterness, and utter bigotry. His attitude gained him business prowess for many years, but when the Market-note lowered the prices of his Autumn-grass he refused to comply.  Jola Harven is headstrong, religious, and thick wristed. He is proud, selfish, and stubborn as well.

Harven, Deah (f): (Deceased) Jola’s youngest daughter of many, age 20. She is rebellious, naïve, and full of wonder.

Hespin, Coie (m): A dignitary of Solstice, proprietor of Hespin’s Villa and a close friend of the Duke of Arinold. He has a mute daughter that is an excellent cartographer.

Hobbin, Eena (f): The youngest of the three Hobbin girls. She is quiet, secluded, small in stature, but strong. She is passionate about the Woodsmen cause. She was a Gatherer prior to being taken in by the Woodsmen; trained in basic medical procedures; she is Nor Makus’s ward. Since the revolution she has grown a thick skin, and is abrasive in nature. Mature, head-strong, cautious, untrusting.

Hobbin, Mona (f): The middle Hobbin girl. Gatherer. The most bitter of the three, naive by nature.

Hobbin, Ronea (f): The eldest Hobbin girl. A Gatherer before the Woodsmen took her in. She is calm, naive, and gentle, though fiercely dedicated to her sisters and her Woodsmen family. She was also perspectives wife and the lover of the deceased Jore Jun.



Holy Dozen (plu. n) The ancient group of elite knights dedicated to protecting the life of the Fusion King, and upholding his wishes. It is an honor to be a member of the Holy Dozen, and one joins for life. In death, the member is immediately replaced by another; through methods chosen by the King himself. The Holy Dozen became an archaic sect once the boy-king fell from power, their betrayal was viewed as a colossal failure and they were disbanded. Some believed they remained intact as the Twelve Unholy Nights, led to evil by Chalton Rentis himself; before being banished to Rentis-Sphere by the Holy Creator himself. Horpe, Malen (m): The town drunk of Harvesthome. Considered a trouble maker.



Huera (f): (Deceased) The Prime Gatherer during the mission Haver Jun, Sana Lanson, and Hallen Allwice were ambushed by Woodsmen. Stubborn, precise, proud.

Jeleps, Majore (m): A trade tycoon of great wealth, and equal notoriety. He is light-hearted, yet vicious and unforgiving. He is known to have an unfavorable reputation, often dealing in unfair contracts in order to greatly boost profits. He is not to be trusted, and often exaggerates feats and stories. He is a fat man with a great deal of contacts that keep him above the curve in both trade and wealth. He has many associates, and owns a good portion of trade that is exchanged between Harvesthome and Solstice. A serious competitor for Duke Arinold.

Jhopan, Juris (m): One of the Solstice Upper, owns a large number of mills; but suffered economic failure after the year of the Harvester Revolution. Stubborn, old, archaic in business practice. His house has the sign of a Turtle.

  -Jhopan’s Millers: A well-renown servant sub-class that only practice the milling of Autumn-grass. Because of their practice,  Juris Jhopan has managed to produce the most meal in Solstice for eighteen consecutive years; granting him status among Solstice’s Finest.



Jonast Steel Throat (m): A hero of the Waterchase Arena, he is often clad in full plate-mail and hails from Scigfried. He is undefeated in the matches, and is known to dismembering his opponents with his sword before killing them; as he always does to please the crowd and council. Very talented.

Jore, Horpe (m): Elder brother of Jore Jun. Jore Horpe disappeared year ago on a hunting expedition in the Queenwood. Because of his experience working with harts, in both occupation and free-time; he has become a introverted personality. He is pale of complexion, and slow to anger; most often seen with a blank stare. He became the First Prime Hunter.

Jore, Jun (m): (Deceased) An imposing youth of Harvesthome, Jore Jun  is headstrong,  passionate, wild, yet respectable. Jore was a hunter before being taken in by the Woodsmen. He is charismatic, and a talented rider of his hart: Mightyhorn.

Jungaree, Donel (m): The town drunk of Harvesthome.  Never seen sober.

Lanson, Everet (m): Born in Harvesthome. The elder brother of  Sana Lanson, Everet is an invalid. He has a debilitating cough and gentle natured; making him appear weak natured. He is cautious, mild, patient and knowledgeable in Mathematics.

Lanson, Sana (f): Prime Gatherer’s apprentice in Harvesthome, before her disappearance in the Queenwood. She is decisive, passionate, reckless, and strong willed. She is Harver Jun’s most trusted companion; cynical, dark-mannered, bitter, and violent. Conversely she is remarkably observant and quick witted; able to take leadership and command the respect of her peers. Knowledgeable in Gathering, and sewing. After the Harvesthome Liberation, she was granted the position of Prime Gatherer.

Laxio, Madame (first name unknown) (f): An Olivian crime lord, Madame Laxio’s operates in nearly every criminal racket throughout Orphan, including human trafficking, drug trafficking, robbery, protection, and more. Despite a massively expansive criminal empire, very little is known about her own personal history, and so far authorities have not been able to link her with any of her criminal activities.

Linnsey, Kregg (m): The Regional Grand-Judge of Scigfried, ruling capitol of the Northern Region. Kregg Linnsey is a warrior of legendary renown, a beast of a man, and a terror of a Judge. He is ruthless, definite, and resolute. According to Scigfried Battle-Lore, a soldier add metal to his accomplishments, and wears it on his body. Because of this, Kregg Linnsey is always seen clad in a mountain of metal armor: Chain-mail over breastplates over plate-mail. Therefore it is speculated that Kregg Linnsey is inhuman, and thus adds to his mystery and renown. A force to be reckoned with.

Linnsey, Seravance (f): A resident of the city of Byyan'Carr. She is heavily involved with the Byyan'Carr section of Olivian citizens that believes the government has been tyrannically overthrown. She used to work as a naturalist, studying animals in their habitats, until she had an experience with the mysterious Gauler. Oddly not related to Kregg Linnsey.

Loiter (m): A Worthy in the Royal Guard

Makus, Nor (f): Gatherer before disappearing into the Queenwood. When her husband (Joleb Makus) disappeared, she refused to give up the search into the night hours. During Dal Niente she disappeared to Harvesthome and was taken in by the Woodsmen. Since that time she has become the Great-mother of the Queenwood. She is respected for her age, and feared for her determination. Her unassuming demeanor makes her a good spy for the Woodsmen; her wiry strength and cold heart make her an ideal assassin. Though she is endearing and compassionate, her age and loss has made her a skilled murderer. She knows a variety of anecdotes, and triples as tribe storyteller and herbalist.

Makut, Jewel (f): Born and raised in Waterchase, Makut gained a reputation in the arenas at a very young age, and eventually went on to compete all across Orphan. She held several major titles by the time she was twenty, and was forced into early retirement due to her refusal to sign with sponsors. Disappearing for fear of harm to her family, she resurfaced in Olivia, where she now makes a comfortable living as a freelance assassin/enforcer for hire.  

Mejini, Hyatt (m): A Prime Gatherer of Harvesthome for a week before disappearing into the Queenwood. Him and his Gathering were abandoned by their escort and considered killed by the Woodsmen. One season later would reveal that he survived the attack, and had become an important member to

Woodsmen society. He is brave, determined, and fiercely loyal to his followers.

Manala (f): (Surname not mentioned) Known as the Mother of the Forest, Manala is the unofficial leader of the Woodsmen. She is extremely intuitive, pre-emptive, and thorough. She is regal, stern, and mystical in characteristic and nature. Originally a Hatcher, Manala became well respected because of her ability to incorporate Orphan’s fauna into everyday life. She is massively tall, larger than most full grown men; though it’s only speculated, some believe that her constant interaction with Grass-kin has caused un-natural growth. She is always thinking two steps ahead, and it a savant at organization and situational assessment.



Menel, Resta (f): (Deceased) Killed during the Gather in which Harver Jun, Sana Lanson, and Hallen Alwice were ambushed by Woodmen.

Mohanas, Corin (m): (Deceased) The warrior of the Woodsmen, respected through courage and strength. He has an abrasive personality; he’s impatient and violent, often drunk. He is reckless to a fault, and throws himself at challenges with complete disregard to his health. Descendant of a long line of Woodsmen warriors.

Nitt (m): A Worthy in the Royal Guard

Peitt, Nashano (m): One of the more well known crime family bosses, Peitt has had a hand in almost every aspect of crime in the city for years. He has become well known for exploiting the desperation of Journeymen refugees.



Prebble, Constable Maximillion (m): A well renown law official of the Upper district in Solstice. A fat man with a sweaty-nervous demeanor. A simpleton.

Rex, Maxtillian (m): Young secretary to the chancellor of the city of Waterchase. Rex is hopeful and optimistic and despite working for Bipton, he rather likes the cultural aspect of Waterchase. He is deeply frightened of Bipton and does as he is told but he wishes he could move on and make a difference other than bringing Bipton what he wishes.

Ramus (m): Younger brother of Marius. I could tell you guys more about him but it would give away too much about Marius, and I’d rather that you discovered his story as it unfolds...because I’m not quite certain I’ve figured it all out yet.

Steevs, Whyburr (m): A noble from the house Steevs. His expertise lies in the study and engagement of duels; Whyburr is a handsome man of athletic build. Dark haired, he is arrogant, flamboyant, proud, and childish; though he has the physical ability to defend his arrogance.  His house has the sign of a Hawk.



Sweeper (m): An elderly man that works in a cleaning team. Simple, haggard, and street smart. He has a swift hand, and a good eye; content individual with a hard working attitude. Lives in the Cracks with the other teams, a survivor.



Tela Ineps (n): (Deceased) A gatherer killed during the mission Harver Jun, Sana Lanson, and Hallen Allwice were ambushed by Woodsmen.  Young, frail, strangled to death.

 

Toloku, Hin (m): Captain of the Cabnic Raiders, the cities Rhodian fighter team. He plays point man, and has racked up record breaking statistics, including most kills on the field with twelve over an eight year career. Despite several appearances and one win in the Olivian title match, he has yet to be able to lead the Olivian national team to qualify for the Orphan Wide Championship Tournament.



Tuln, Ellis (f): (Deceased) A Hunter before being taken in by the Woodsmen. She is a tomboy, skilled with a knife and not afraid of violence. She is also one of the few members of Harvesthome that was trained to stalk harts, making her lithe and silent by nature. She is often called upon for her skill in secrecy.

Vastillion (n): Duke Arinold of Rhonteville’s Butler and Social Overseer. Flamboyant, stuffy, old, and proper.

Voss, Col. Garen (m): A commanding officer in the Parliamentary army, he served as a soldier during the Olivian Revolution, and later gained a command during the Journeymen Rebellions.

Zyeer, Philos (m): (Deceased) Philos grew up in Cabnic and soon became acclimated to the criminal lifestyle.  After a long time spent working for Peitt Nashano he lost interest in being a pawn in the Kings game, and longed to be a criminal leader himself. After establishing himself in Cabnic, Nashano was furious.  Nashano did not have to wait long for Zyeer to make his first mistake, and had him exposed and ran from town.  After a short time travelling he took residence in the town of Dravus, where his operations with a facade organization called The Entrusts ultimately lead to his demise at the hand of one of his senior officers.  That senior officer would go on to eliminate every member of The Entrusts, halting the influence of Zyeer indefinetly.
